Hans is a lonely young farmer and lives a secluded life on his small farm.  Due to unfortunate circumstances, he has to sell the farm against his will. When Laura Schwieler, an ambitious lawyer from the big city, arrives on his farm to handle the sales contract, her car won't start and the two strangers are forced to wait together for the towing service. Hans initially reacts completely overwhelmed, but overcomes his shyness and a bizarre rapprochement begins.
